Scontro in Senato fra maggioranza e opposizioni alla vigilia delle comunicazioni della premier Giorgia Meloni, che questa mattina arriverà a Palazzo Madama per parlare della guerra in Iran e del prossimo Consiglio europeo del 19 e 20 marzo. Ovvero in ritardo sul primo fronte, in anticipo sul secondo. La premier è “insofferente” rispetto al Parlamento, reclamano le opposizioni che vogliono due comunicazioni distinte.

Il ministro per i Rapporti con il Parlamento, Luca Ciriani sottolinea come il Parlamento sia “al centro” dell’agenda politica del governo. Peraltro non è escluso che possano essere presentate risoluzioni distinte e da votare sui due temi che sono all’ordine del giorno del dibattito in Aula: la guerra e i temi del Consiglio europeo. Ma, viene spiegato, deciderà la presidenza del Senato.
Parlamento umiliato
“Sul consiglio Ue la presidente Meloni sta facendo una forzatura grave e sta umiliando il Parlamento che si troverà a dover discutere di temi che non si sa se sono all’ordine del giorno perché’ questo ancora non c’è e arriverà, come sempre, solo qualche giorno prima. C’è un Odg provvisorio ma antecedente alla guerra in Iran che data 24 febbraio”, osserva Francesco Boccia, presidente dei senatori del Pd. “E’ molto grave tutto questo” e denota “insofferenza del governo verso qualsiasi forma di controllo parlamentare” aggiunge, sottolineando che in capigruppo “c’è stata la protesta ferma delle opposizioni”.
Concordi i capigruppo Raffaella Paita di Iv, Luca Pirondini del M5s e, in rappresentanza di Avs, il senatore Tino Magni. Pirondini, rispondendo ai giornalisti su un’eventuale risoluzione comune delle opposizioni, ha risposto: “Ci lavoriamo. C’è sicuramente la volontà di provare a trovare la soluzione”.

United by group leaders Raffaella Paita of Iv, Luca Pirondini of the M5s, and, representing Avs, Senator Tino Magni. Pirondini, responding to journalists about a possible joint resolution from the opposition, replied: “We are working on it. There is certainly the willingness to try to find a solution.”
