Hoping the Fediverse can help me with some #legal research. I am currently writing a paper on #evictions, and am in the process of explaining how difficult the legal process is for #tenants without access to legal representation. I would like to cite specific figures about what percentage of #eviction judgments are successfully appealed and reversed nationwide, but I am unable to find any sources (No luck from #EvictionLab or Matthew Desmond's other projects on this). Do any legal wizards happen to know where I could find this information? Thank you! #Law #LandlordTenant #lawfedi #tenantrights @law
@patricklee “The Eviction Lab is a team of researchers, students, and website architects who believe that a stable, affordable home is central to human flourishing and economic mobility. Accordingly, understanding the sudden, traumatic loss of home through eviction is foundational to understanding poverty in America.” https://evictionlab.org/about/
