For those of us who remember how Harper handled #FIPA -- the secrecy, the unecessary concessions, etc -- Carney's repeated fumbling of the trade war now makes more sense.
On FIPA, Harper "demonstrated the worst negotiating skills since Neville Chamberlain"; the terms Harper agreed to were "unprecedented and would be laughed out of Britain, Brussels, Canberra or Washington". Definintely the guy you want advising your team, right?
