Touka Mimori and his classmates are abruptly catapulted into a fantasy world, summoned by the resident goddess to serve as heroes. The good news? Most of the students display amazing skills upon arrival! The bad? Mimori is the worst of the lot, bottoming out at a measly E-rank

So, got another light novel show to watch. I have to say this is better than strongest magician showing. Basically, we have Touka Mimori, an OP MC in another world – fantastic. Will say this does have darker elements though, namely: abuse and bullying.

How to put it, typical high school crap, or if you’ve watched battle royale, then you’ll get a good picture of how this class operates. The biggest bully by far is the beautiful, yet vile, manipulative goddess Vysis – who brought them into the other world.

If the elements remain, then honestly it makes the series worth it, as I actually want to see some of these dip sticks students get their actual comeuppance, in the most glorious “you very much deserved it”. Yeah, the series has a fairly large ensembled cast to make groups etc.

Mimori Touka, abused by his parents at a young age. Until he got adopted by his kind aunt and uncle

It is hinted that in order to cope with the abuse from the hands of his parents, he was steadily developing a split personality. This didn’t come to be, as he got adopted by his loving aunt and uncle, thus becoming a loving, kind person in return.

Seen as the bottom of the barrel, with a “mob” character personality to boot, ended up being a rank E. For this, he got dumped by the goddess Vysis to die, with betrayal from some of his classmates. She ended up becoming his target of revenge. He levelled up really quickly, surpassing even S-rank heroes in terms of stats. His main skills: paralyse, poison is considered weak and not useful, however he upgraded them up to ridiculous levels

Vysis, a beautiful goddess and waifu material with the sexiness she oozes, sadly that isn’t the only this she oozes. She discards anyone or anything that she deems useless with utter contempt. Putting on a facade of being merciful, in reality cunning and manipulative, using veiled threats to get what she wants. Earned Touka’s vengeance

Would I continue watching?

I’ll continue watching, nothing really stands out besides the darker elements of the series and of course, the very sexy elven lady and Vysis

Summer 2024 Anime I’m Watching — hidden gems & big hits

Well, looks like this might a regular post of sorts. July is just around the corner and with it, comes new shows.

I’ll be honest, there are some spring shows that I’ve either not finished, put on hold, haven’t gotten around or want to check out.

More light novel. Interesting, though I don’t think it will do brilliantly. I thought the same thing about chilling in another world, and I ended up watching that over the new gate, plus Rys is super cute

Done by P.A Works and I have a soft spot for them. An original show about cheerleading, a weird choice, however with PA at the helms, could be an interesting show
