I understand the need for hyperbolic, bombastic titles to trick the algorithm into giving views to YouTube videos.
However, if I see one more video titled, "TRUMP DESTROYED AS GOP COLLAPSES!!!!!11!" and it turns out one Republican state senator from Idaho said, "hey, that president guy is kind of wrong on this one farm funding bill" I'm going to go NUTS.

Is there a formula for happiness? I learned about "False Hopes" from Phil Stutz's books. It is a belief we have about the future, starting with "I will be happy when..." This ties our happiness to something outside of ourselves, like a "magic person or thing." Stutz asserts that we need to learn to manage our own feelings and take responsibility for our emotions. If there is a formula, it seems to involve a lot of work.

A lot of commentators do that at the end of a really depressing interview. At first we thought they meant it, "I see a lot of promise in the next generation. Many I talk to <ANECDOTE>". Its a fast, easy way to end on something that feels positive.
We think it often just creates #falseHope.Many young people are confused and distracted.
Part of it is likely #behaviourChange language and #suggestion to guide the young listener. "I'm young, I can <ANECDOTE>". Its still dishonest, though.
#Parking bay sensors exist only to provide #FalseHope - it is so exceedingly rare that a #GreenLight indicates an actually vacant spot.
