Trying something new. Quite a few edits, increased a few colors otherwise I've only cropped and playing around with my framing. #Darktable makes the process easy to try different styles. The photos are taken near one of our #GreatLakes in #Ontario

It's been a while since I've taken the time to post much of anything.

I decided to work on a few photos the last few days and cropped and sharpened this beauty.

An #abandoned barn off an old county line in #rural #Ontario I'm fond of. We had a large storm a few years ago which took it down.

#Christmas can be a both a good or bad time for the different people in your lives. Being kind and considerate to others is often the best gift, and it's always affordable.

I managed to get my #orangecat to be merry for once. Mind the hateful look, he was purring for his selfie.

I was fortunate enough to have a loving family who helped me buy the #LEGO #startrek set, since I'd never buy myself something like it. The crew had a great time helping with the build. #wesleycrusher in a constant state of panic, definitely made the experience better.

A very needy orange cat, demanding attention. Framed center, his boopable nose and big black eyes stare into your soul. The background is a paused television because the owner can't reach the remote. A Christmas tree in bokeh is in the top right corner, a rare time the cat isn't caught trying to climb it. He really needs to stop being this cute.

Last night's #Supermoon2025 event was soured a little by overcast but a break in the #clouds gave my #nikon a few great opportunities.
