What if "Star Wars," but 80's anime with a kick-ass rockin' guitar shredding soundtrack?
i really like this fan film. i rewatched it multiple times now. the production quality is great. and i find it to be quite gripping the whole way through. i really like this take on the scp universe. we are used to the more clinical side of the scps with research and so on, but this is more focused on the people who are sent to recover the anomaly.
in this case we have a foundation military strike force sent to recover an artifact from a house that once belonged to a cult leader and it's really cool to see these guys who move with great choreography, you really believe that they're elite and really great at their job, but their job is to go in places where you can't know what to expect. a lot of the tension comes from the fact that despite their training, despite everything they know, they are so out of their depth.
i really like it. it's a bit tacticool and military porn-ish, but i think limiting it as that would be a disservice to what it is.
