Ich habe gewisse Vorstellungen, wie eine #App und deren Bedienelemente für #Mastodon für mich sein soll.

Dem kommen aktuell nur #icecubesapp und #feditext nah.

Das Beste an #icecubesapp ist IMHO das automatische Generieren von Alt-Texten und dass das #-Zeichen immer sichtbar ist.

Bei #feditext liebe ich, dass die Scrollposition sich nie automatisch verändert. Und die großen Bilder bei den Notifications.

Weiß jemand, was mit #feditext passiert ist? Beta-App funktioniert nicht mehr, ich war eigtl echt Fan..Alternativ-Vorschläge ansonsten?

Yep, prediction fulfilled, #FediText has just ceased working. *sigh…* Anyone fork it yet usably?

@Feditext For some weird reason, Akkoma isn't supported. Also, Can you have #Feditext refresh your feed when you get a reply?

One thing I wish #Feditext would do is #FeedRefresh to include #Replies you get on your #Toot. That would be very #Helpful

swift is kinda dope i guess, the UI is just so nice, lots of config options and it saves you timeline position!!

Wait a minute... if it's a toot on Mastodon, what is it if you access the Fediverse via GoToSocial?

I saw Feditext mentioned as an iOS client that worked well with GoToSocial, so got it installed via TestFlight, and it does work well!

Apparently it's a fork of the old Metatext app. It's nice! It also still lets you swap the default post button's label from "Toot" to "Post", so I guess that's what we'll go with.

Goot was all I could come up with, and it sounded kind of goofy anyway 🤣

PS: This post was from semaphore on my desktop system. It's also nice!

soweit ich das erkunden konnte, ist #feditext noch in der Entwicklung und müsste mit #testflight genutzt werden. Da warte ich noch ein bisschen.

Derweil bin ich mit den Möglichkeiten der Mastodon-Browserversion in Safari schon ein Stück weiter (z.B. Listen-Erstellung und -bearbeitung).
Ich habe jetzt auch Mona zur Erprobung auf meinem iPhone 8 installiert und nutze es im Wechsel.

@Thoraka ich nutze #Feditext, wobei mir die App besonders deswegen gefällt, weil sie mehrere Profile bedienen kann.

Since #gts now has push notifications, what apps are supporting it? #feditext does send the notifications but there’s double notifications and no real updates to the app in a while.

IceCubes is my go to for mastodon but isn’t pushing notifications for my GoToSocial account.

About the "which #iOS App do you use with #GoToSocial" question, I recently started using #Feditext (via TestFlight). And I have no more "cannot connect" errors, so far. Which is not the case with #IceCubes. The Web application #Phanpy also does not happen to suffer from this problem.

@Feditext wird immer besser.
Ich hadere zögere ja noch ein wenig, weil man ist ja Gewohnheitsmensch, aber ich mag die App immer mehr.
