I want a re-dub of #FernGully with voices from Aotearoa New Zealand & the wider Polynesian area. Māori Crysta, Pip, and Magi, guardians of nature? Of course.

Though anyone re-dubbing Curry and Williams would have to be phenomenal in the part. Maybe Lani Tupu as Hexxus? I've never heard him sing but I can imagine it. Kevin Smith would have knocked it out the ballpark. RIP the greatest Ares.

I guess Taika Waititi is the current society fave for Batty.

I typically use a jelly gouache set that dries out easily, so... I keep it that way! It's water based, so it's easy to reactivate with water. I usually use the set like a watercolour palette when it's dried like this, but it still works great as regular opaque gouache! (Esp with gesso underneath!)

Lots of adults who need to learn the lessons of “#ferngully, a children’s cartoon movie about the dangers of taking fossil fuels out of the earth.

It's usually at this moment in the movie when the grass is being mowed that we zoom in to see an entire civilisation of creatures living in these flowers and grass strands.

Avatar: the Way of Water - I like these movies fine? They are basucally Disnsy pics with simple Disney morality Way longer than it should be and they need to find a new plot point beyond “the kids get captured”.
