Ahhh so I’ve been having some health issues and got an ultrasound yesterday. It confirmed that I once again have fibroids and a cyst on my left ovary. Since I had 3 removed in 2019 and once again have 3 which are larger, I’m meeting with a surgeon in Jan to discuss a hysterectomy. I’m tired of being in pain so fingers crossed I can get my ins approval for this much needed surgery in 2025 #Fibroids #Hysterectomy #Pain #OvarianCyst

I had successful surgery last September due to severe #fibroids. As the physical symptoms got worse over a 7-year-period (no pun intended, but it really did feel like that) so did my #mood swings.

If I had known about the hormonal connection, I would have gotten treatment much sooner.

9 months since my second operation.

Yesterday I hated the scar. It reminded me of the struggles I’ve had physically and mentally over the last 10 years. I see other women breezing through life and it hurts. But I woke up this morning feeling proud and strong. The scar shows what I’ve overcome already in life. It shows that I’ve beaten fibroids twice now. The door isn’t closed yet and I’ve got to hold on to that hope and be proud of what I’ve gone through and overcome already.

Was away for a bit due to getting a #hysterectamy #surgery. Anyone else go through this? Had ginormous #fibroids. So glad to be on the healing side.
