@bubobubo : Difficile à dire, le #ras c'est un peu le camp de vacances, et les ateliers et les minijams souvent se font selon l'inspiration du moment. Par contre, en mode plus « #spectacle » ce sera le #samedi à partir de 21h dans la grande salle. Et il y aura une jeune fille du #tetalab qui déboite fort avec #supercollider et #foxdot :)

Hi! I’m pit [he/him], from Italy (currently based in Firenze, but always on the move).
I have been a live coding aficionado for some time now, ever since I attended a workshop on SuperCollider back in 2019 or so. Since then I've been experimenting with different languages, trying to learn them by messing around, and eventually decided that #foxdot combined with #hydravideosynth for visuals were the ones for me.
In the last year I have held a couple of workshops myself for middle school students (I care a lot about sharing knowledge, it's one of the things I like most about live coding...) and participated in a few algoraves and live coding events organised by toplap italia around the country (...along with making community).
I found algorave - as social and collective phenomenon - so interesting that I decided to write my M.A. thesis on it (ask me in dm if interested, there’s an online version of it)

Happy to take part in the toplap mastodon community! :)

Tried to make some #berlinschool loops with LMMS.
While sound design is easy, I find it cumbersome for melody development.
Going to try with #Foxdot again.

Just recovering from a rave party in France. My Suppercollider Foxdot set on a huge sound system was great fun. Until the moment when the police packed everything up and sprayed the partying people with tear gas. I couldn't imagine tear gas at rave parties 10 years ago.
