#GaiaProject setzt sich nach längerer Abwesenheit gerade mal wieder auf dem Tisch fest. Heute konnte ich mit den Hadsch Halla gegen die Taklons gewinnen.

August was a BIG #boardgames month for me with 60 different games played over 115 plays! It was a lot of fun trying new games (thanks to #BoardGameArena and get togethers), but honestly I’m a bit exhausted!

Highlights of the month are #GaiaProject (and its sibling #TerraMystica), freshly picked #ButtonShy games #SkullsOfSedlec and #Numbsters, #Expeditions, and #CosmicFrog!

May was #IFFBoston2024 so I didn't get a lot of #boardgames in, but I did get some good ones.

My friends and I finally finished #TheCrewMissionDeepSea (it's great). I played #GaiaProject w/ 4P for the first time (and still wasn't great at map placement). I taught #Arnak, #Parks, and #GaiaProject to new people.

When you try to form a second federation during the whole game, but succeed only in the last turn. But that gave me (white) enough points to win :)

#AgeOfInnovation war vollständig abendfüllend und hat mich überzeugt. Tief, komplex, es gibt viel zu entdecken, zu entscheiden, zu planen und zu hoffen - für eine Gruppe, die bereit ist Zeit in diese Komplexität zu investieren, sicher lohnenswert! Für mich, der nichtmal Terra Mystica regelmäßig auf den Tisch bekommt, obwohl es schneller zu lernen und zu spielen ist, wird Age of Innovation wohl eine seltene, aber stets willkommene Kost bleiben.

Und #GaiaProject bleibt fürs Solo ❤️

@porreeundlauch Jaaa, kenne ich auch. 😝 Aber meistens lohnt es sich total - die Spiele sind ja alle mit gutem Grund eingezogen.
Ich hab z. B. ganz lang nicht #GaiaProject gespielt...wenn ich da ans Regeln Auffrischen denke... 🤪🙈

Fluffig, hm. Im Vergleich zu #GaiaProject ist Luna jedenfalls einfach zu bedienen. 😁 Bei der 3. Partie ist die schon geflutscht bei mir. Und sie kommt echten Gegner*innen halt schon sehr nah für einen Bot. Kann man auch super mitspielen lassen, wenn man zu zweit spielt und mehr Druck durch eine dritte Partei möchte. Hab ich aber noch nicht probiert, nur gelesen, kann es mir jedoch sehr gut vorstellen.

Endlich mal wieder eine epische Runde #GaiaProject auf dem Tisch gehabt. Einfach ein grandioses Spiel. Mit den Geoden konnte ich am Schluss auch noch in einer knappen Partie den Sieg einfahren. 😊

In early 2020 I got #GaiaProject as a gift and finally got to play it yesterday for the first time. Definitely the heaviest #BoardGame I've played. The theme works and the rulebook is quite good so things made sense. I think we only missed one rule. There's a big thinky decision space so it was slow but will get easier. It was a lot of fun. I played the Terrans yesterday and did a little better playing Hadsch Hallas against the IPad app today.

@azrael2k @spielefamilie für mich persönlich optisch im Mittelfeld, aber das Spiel selbst ist wirklich genial. Eins der Spiele, bei dem ich keine Downtime fühle, da viele Aktionen der anderen für einen selbst auch relevant sind. Sei es um direkt zu partizipieren oder weil man seinen nächsten Zug nochmal neu planen muss. 😅 Mit #AgeofInnovation wurde ja ein Nachfolger angekündigt, noch weiß ich nicht was ich davon halten soll, da ich mit #GaiaProject eigentlich sehr zufrieden bin. 🥰

Ha sido una partida complicada de puntuar, pero muy interesante ya que los dos objetivos fueron muy relacionados.
Me está encantando descubrir como funcionan las diversas razas.

¡Como aprieta este Gaia Project! Este es uno de los juegos más complejos que tengo, posiblemente el que más.
En Gaia Project intentaremos expandirnos por la galaxia colonizando planetas, obteniendo recursos y desarrollando tecnologías.
Partiendo de la base de que estamos ante un juego duro, las reglas no son excesivamente complejas, pero optimizar nuestras acciones, formar una estrategia o llegar a construir las estructuras que necesitemos puede ser un buen quebradero de cabeza.
La partida la he disfrutado muchísimo jugando contra un automa que me ha fastidiado bastantes veces.
Los que saben de estos juegos siempre dicen "aquí se viene a sufrir" y "a divertirse al circo" 🤣
