I had fun at Marvel's Spider-Man: Beyond Amazing exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago. I started reading the wall-crawler’s comics at nine years old, and kept up with my favorite superhero for decades afterwards. Exploring the displays and learning interesting things about Spidey’s history that I never knew (or forgot) was a real treat. For example, two months before Peter Parker made his costumed debut in Amazing Fantasy #15, his Aunt May and Uncle Ben technically appeared first in Strange Tales #97—with a niece named Linda. The exhibit covered everything from the comics to the live-action movies to Sony Pictures’ ongoing Spider-Verse franchise. At one point, I even caught Spider-Woman taking my picture. 🕷️
