Sometimes I miss #Novell #Groupwise. I just slogged around Hosted Exchange to set up an inter-account share and the path was bruised and bloody. It wouldn’t have been that way if it was… yeah. Ah well, a part of the past is what Novell and all that is now.

Now we are trapped in the nightmare existence that #Microsoft makes. Yay.

For instance: in the early 00s the sales team at the system integrator I was engineering manager at insisted that "everyone should use the same email system" & it had to feature collaboration, thinking to force all the engineers to switch from Linux to Windows.

Instead, I deployed #Groupwise. I met the brief. 100%.

Zur Anbieterauswahl: vor nem Jahr gab es keine.günstige sinnvolle Alternative.

Inzwischen hat eine.andere Gemeinde (Kontakt über sublan.TV) eine eigens programmierte App und sucht Partner.

Möglichkeiten wäre vielleicht auch #groupwise zu verwenden, wenn es das als App gibt
Oder #wechange.

Wäre ja auch für eine.Opensource App für Kirchengemeinden.
