150 years ago H. C. Andersen past away. Churches here in Denmark chimed at 11.00 o'clock (ca) as that was the tie he passed. He indeed has been and become such a symbol for us here in DK A strange man with od circumstances made such an impackt. Love that he also did other things like paper cuttings, and was the inventor of the very traditional 'Julehjerter' - Christmas hearts of paper, homemade & woven.

The other day Facebook tagged a poem by Danish poet Hans Christian Andersen as 'inappropriate' and removed an article about it from a Facebook group.
Danish bourgeoisie society also judged the poem as inappropriate in 1863 ... :)
