How I personally have felt at different estrogen levels, with testosterone being virtually non-existent:

<200pmol/l: Kill me now.
200-400pmol/l: Everything sucks
400-600pmol/l: I'm so tired.
600-900pmol/l: Eh, this is alright.
900-1200pmol/l: This. Is. AWESOME.
1200-1400pmol/l: Is this coffee or crack? (stimulant sensitivity)
>1400pmol/l: I love everything, hate everything, and why am I vibrating? I want to run and sleep, and cry and aaaah (too much)

Opening up the floor: #perimenopause pals, who out there post #hysterectomy on #HRT? What are your doses and do you take "breaks" for a few days from any of it?

Especially wanna hear from folks with #PCOS and #endometriosis like me, and bonus if like me, still in possession of one ovary.

I stopped taking #HRT a month ago as an experiment. No change in mood, feeling pretty good, plenty of energy, but my muscles and joints are getting very sore. A few hairs are falling out. A cup of coffee is much more important in the morning. And I might be gaining some weight. Not fun, wouldn't recommend.

Shit... A photo of me from 2-3 weeks ago popped up in my Google Photos recap... Shit... I really am begging to look more like my mom. 😳 #HRT

#perimenopause and #hrt noticing: I think I feel as cold as I used to when I was thinner. I assumed this had gone away with additional weight, but maybe it was a hormone thing?

Back from my GP, for another triptorelin injection.

Truly the biggest perk of transitioning in the Netherlands: It’s one injection, every 12 weeks, no real side-effects[1], and because it’s so expensive you basically don’t get it elsewhere.

That said, since it’s a peptite, it requires somewhat unusual preperation and the person who did it today is a doctor, who clearly never dealt with it and skipped reading the instructions…

Not ideal, but in the end, it seems to have made it into my buttock and with surprisingly little pain at that, given the mess that she made when mixing…

[1]: okay the side-effects are: It’s an injection, so things can go (mechanically) wrong with that and low Testosteron also can do things that are undesirable. Aka: No real side effects.
