Minor coastal flooding expected.
WHERE: North San Francisco Bay Interior Valleys & San Francisco Bay Shoreline Counties along the San Francisco Bay. #California
WHEN: From 7 AM Thursday to 1 PM PST Sunday, mainly from a couple hours before to after the highest tide.
San Francisco highest tides:
*Thursday Nov 14th 6.72 ft at 9:26 am.
*Friday Nov 15th 6.95 ft at 10:04 am.
*Saturday Nov 16th 7.01 ft at 10:43 am.
*Sunday Nov 17th 6.89 ft at 11:26 am.
IMPACTS: Flooding of lots, parks & roads with only isolated road closures expected.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS:
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

Streets were underwater and people had to slosh through sunken sidewalks as coastal flooding inundated parts of the Northeast since Thursday, and it's not over yet.

"A local environmental group in #Boston, #StoneLivingLab, posted signs in the water directing onlookers to its website, which said, 'Wicked High Tides are back! These annual tides are 2-4 feet higher than normal and give us a window into how sea level rise will soon affect our daily lives.'"
