Had an amazing lunch with Uncle and Aunt while we waited on the tide to go down.
Saw some big rocks, that look a lot smaller when the tide comes in. Kids got pretty muddy.
@ECityMom Hopewell Rocks are well worth seeing. You can see tidal bores on the Petitcodiac River in NB, or the Salmon and Shubenacadie rivers in NS, twice daily as the tide changes. Shediac, NS has a giant “tourist” lobster, and they’ve just opened a lobster information centre. Annapolis Royal and Halifax, NS have lots of historical significance (albeit colonial).
The Fundy Trail Parkway west of Hopewell Rocks is very scenic.
These are the Hopewell Rocks, 70 ft rocks only completely uncovered at low tide on the Bay of Fundy. It's an amazing experience to be there at low tide. At high tide, the sea there is 52 ft deep. But when it recedes, people pepper the shore wandering around the glorious rocks, exploring the temporarily visible sea floor. It's a bucket list place to visit for sure.
