@futurebird @cohentheblue @yurnidiot the original arcade game called #HouseOfTheDead was quite serious. However Typing of the Dead had a quite humorous twist, with all these ridiculous words and sentences and with the protagonists having a dreamcast on their back and a keyboard in front of their chest in the cut scenes.
It seems like the developers had a lot of fun with this port :D.

Went to the local arcade counterpart in another city, and wow I was not disappointed in the slightest. They had #dancedancerevolution 5th mix working as well as #streetfighter third strike and #houseofthedead 2/3/4 it was so nice to see all the machines that were taken out of my store again

Pinging myself about the #houseofthedead #remake #linux issue, I figured it out:
TL;DR: #Unity's chugging down VRAM way too fucking quick, filling up the GPU when it shouldn't. Make a dxvk.conf in the same dir as the game with
dxgi.maxDeviceMemory = xxxx
replacing the value with slightly above half your GPU's VRAM amount, in megabytes. I'm using 4840.
