Houston Library had a free Minnesota State Parks pass. Since I'm a member of SELCO through the Rushford Library, I was able to get it. Only good till the 30th, but we'll try to use it.

Bicycled home, enjoyed a wonderful breeze.

40 miles yesterday to Lanesboro, Minnesota.

28 miles today to Houston, Minnesota. This a bit harder as it has a steep hill.

Glad I did both. Hot and humid reminded me of North Alabama.

Tomorrow I catch up on reading "Moon Lake" by Joe R. Lansdale.

Then listening to "The Memory Librarian by Janelle Monae.

The "clank clunk" of what sounded like loose planks was unnerving, but seemed perfectly safe.

The large white boards that were in the middle are gone. I'm sure they were there for a reason during winter, I just don't know what that is.

Fixed my front gearing. Part on the post had slipped down enough to cause random shifting problems. They also switched out a really gunky rear shifter cable. Made it wonderful coming home. Good work, definitely going back.

Trail was mostly clear. A couple of large puddles the only obstacles besides the numerous twigs and small branches.

The Houston Nature Center has the water fountain turning on April First.

Only had to stop once going there.
Had to stop to rest 4 times coming back.

What a fun, informative program. We learned so much. The presentation by Andi was so good.

Other 🦉 owls there, but Ruby the great horned owl was the star.

It's still going on later today and tomorrow, but we already feel like we got our money's worth of admission for today.
