Upon experimentation with the #InitWare Suite of Middleware in both a #BSD and #Linux environment, InitWare will be used in later versions of Sapphire GNU/Linux, either as PID1 or an auxillary init system with sysvinit as PID1. However, you can expect systemd to be used in the first versions of Sapphire GNU/Linux.
