This is the biggest problem with the common vampire mythology, the first villain that catches vampirism will use it to overpower humans permanently.

I know this is not that kinda movie, but I feel like a graphic novel or movie of an aging fallen tough guy mafia Don battling a seductress vampire on one night across a whole city would make a pretty good story.

I like that these gangsters have a two track mind, murder, then sex with beautiful stranger.
Whereas Marie has a one track mind, seduce and drink blood.

This was really fun, although doesnt reach the highs of American Werewolf in London, as there's never much in the way of... stakes ;) An interesting mobster vampire mashup, packed with cameos (Sam Reimi! Dario Argento!), and brilliant effects. Very cool overall.
