I was lucky enough to get my hands on 'It Rhymes With Takei', George Takei's second graphic novel memoir, focusing on his personal story as a gay man, from his early days as a boy growing up in a world that condemned homosexuality, both socially and politically, to landing the role of Hikaru Sulu, finding love, and his late coming out at the age of 68, back in 2005.

It's an inspiring story of hope, told very sincerely, that makes a perfect read for fans of the actor, anyone interested in LGBTQIA+ issues, and anyone who has ever felt like they don't quite fit in.
