I grew up with only three TV channels. On Saturdays, BBC1 broadcast sport from lunchtime thro’ till teatime. On BBC2 there were Saturday matinées. They would have seasons, e.g. of westerns or musicals. I loved them. #NelsonEddie & #JeanetteMacDonald starred in many films.
