"I'll See You Again" is a song by the English songwriter Sir #NoëlCoward. It originated in Coward's 1929 #operetta #BitterSweet, but soon became established as a #standard in its own right and remains one of Coward's best-known compositions. He told how the waltz theme had suddenly emerged from a mix of car-horns and klaxons during a traffic-jam in New York. I grew up with only three TV channels. On Saturdays, BBC1 broadcast sport from lunchtime thro’ till teatime. On BBC2 there were Saturday matinées. They would have seasons, e.g. of westerns or musicals. I loved them. #NelsonEddie & #JeanetteMacDonald starred in many films.
