WP Rocket ist nicht das erste Plugin, dass Upsell-Links einbindet und so die Nutzer*innen dazu bringen möchte, doch noch weitere Plugins und Services zu erwerben. Was man bei kostenlosen Plugins noch ohne weiteres akzeptieren kann, ist für viele bei kostenpflichtigen Plugins ein No-Go. So geht es Alex mit WP Rocket, der nun nach Alternativen sucht.

Elementor 3.34 Beta bringt dem neuen v4 Editor einige neue Tricks bei, zum Beispiel: Nested Tabs machen den Aufbau von Tab-Layouts flexibler, Entrance Interactions erlauben die Steuerung wie Elemente auf der Seite erscheinen, Display Conditions für die neuen Atomic Elements und ein Flexbox Atomic Element. Das Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik hat sich verschiedene Passwortmanager angeschaut. Dabei wurden zwar verschiedene (mögliche) Schwachstellen gefunden, aber im Ergebnis gilt: ein Passwortmanager und eigne Passwörter für alle Dienste sind in jedem Fall besser als Listen in Text-Dokumenten, Excel-Tabellen oder schlimmer die Verwendung von einem Standardpasswort für alles.

JetEngine 3.8.0 mit MCP Server

JetEngine bringt mit Version 3.8 einen MCP Server mit. Damit ist eine Verbindung mit OpenAI möglich und über das neue Command Center kann man einfach beschreiben, was gebaut werden soll und die KI erstellt es dann. Nicht immer perfekt, aber zumindest bekommt man auf dem Weg eine Basis, auf der man weiter arbeiten kann.

Weitere Neuheiten sind Multi-Day-Events im Kalender-Widget und der neue Query-Type für Relations.
