The biggest thing that gets me about this #LinusMediaGroup thing is how bad must the working conditions be where someone felt they needed to record an HR meeting the day after Madison left. Seriously. The person who recorded this meeting must have known SOMETHING about Madison and her situation, or was experiencing the same.
In all my years of working for companies big and small, I have never felt the need to secretly record any meeting, let alone an HR meeting.
You know what else I haven't felt the need to do? Tell an inappropriate joke after an HR meeting.
One thing I always found funny about Linus was that he kept saying that “corporations are not your friends” while claiming that he would be disappointed if his employees unionized because “they should trust he would do what’s right”.

Linus (Sebastian) openly said he was against unionising. How could you defend that?

Don't trust any product reviews from Linus Media Group. They are rushed to the point of being incapable of avoiding crucial mistakes in their videos, that will badly affect people's purchasing decisions.

Just became aware of the thread by Madison, former employee of #LinusMediaGroup, #LinusTechTips. I am glad that she has shared the details, and I hope that she is in a better place. I can't imagine the shitstorm she'll receive for coming forward.
Had already been following the #GamersNexus video and Linus's response and was rather disappointed by it, though not surprised. Linus seemingly has a small reality distortion field around him, and his response really put that on display.
