I'm a few days late... The first of 4 VERY different shows with a trip to the 80s. Simple Minds, Soft Cell, and Modern English. I knew a lot more Simple Minds songs than I thought. And I really enjoyed Modern English's short set, I'll have to look up more of their material.

Matt Nathanson is always a good show and last night was one of the best I've seen. He and KT Tunstall are amazing together. He seems to genuinely enjoy performing and feeds off the audience's energy.

🎟️🎵 Excellent set from Buck Meek Saturday night. His  lyrics were beautiful and his voice was captivating. Adam Brisbin on guitar was incredible, his playing style brought a incredible dimension to the set. And Austin Vaughn’s drumming was subtle, but very effective. Buck’s younger brother, Dylan, opened. He’s just as talented, but his jazz keyboard and drums just didn’t land with me.

Ended the week with The Smile at Massey Hall. The Radiohead side project was great, the quieter side of Radiohead with Thom and Johnny trading guitar, bass, and keys with the incredible Tom Skinner on drums. One of the most engaged crowds I've ever seen, totally into the music, and respectful of everyone around them. The Massey is a beautiful looking room, and it sounded great.
