Took an hour but went back to the mall and their computers were fixed by then. This was a mission for my partner as she needed some powder and concealer. They had never heard of Bare Minerals. I realize I am not your typical dude because of my exposure to these brands in #Lucire, but you'd hope that people in the trade would know. But if you're a monopoly, maybe there's no incentive to know! Wound up with Revlon. These days Bare Minerals is owned by a big US corporation so what's the difference?

In the mid-2000s, we (#Lucire) were in the running to run a feature on Melanie Knauss’s wedding dress. If anything, it was our idea. Melania’s agent and I were good friends. Vogue swooped in with big bucks and got the exclusive. With how things turned out, I’m grateful we never got the story …
