Three more wildfires seen from Buck Hill this morning, November 9th.

The first one is the Braintree Echo Lake fire. The Braintree Split can be seen at the bottom of this photo, where I-93 and route 3 meet.

The second one is the Lynn Woods Reservation fire. The Chelsea Street Bridge can been seen below the smoke.

The third fire seems to line up with the location of the Mansfield fire near the I-95/I-495 interchange.

The air was very cool and dry today and the wind was whipping. Scary times!

This is a fire that I photographed from Buck Hill this morning, November 3rd 2024 just after 7am. I'm uncertain where the fire is located or what the source of it is, but considering the recent spike in wildfires in Massachusetts, I suspect this is also a wildfire. The building at the lower left is the former Norwood Hospital, which would put this on a bearing for the towns of Medfield MA and Medway MA, perhaps Noon Hill Reservation or Shattuck Reservation. So far I have not been able to find any corroborating source for a fire in those towns.
