A hi-rail service truck on the green line subway tracks at Kenmore Station

Well that was fun… I nearly missed my OurBus to NYC leaving from near Hynes—I had to wave down the driver as he was about to pull out to get him to let me onto the bus—because the Green Line shuttle took nearly ten minutes to go one stop from Kenmore.
Actionable advice: however long the app tells you the shuttle will take, assume it'll take 3x as long and plan accordingly.
I'm sure the Green Line work will make things better, but in the meantime, it kinda sucks.

Why isn't the Silver line running every 12 minutes anymore?

I wasn't going to be able to get to South Station in time, so I caught a bus to the Orange line, and got the train at Back Bay station. With 7 whole minutes to spare.
