I gave up finding a molecular psychiatrist of my own and have instead contacted one of the people who wrote one of the studies that involved #MDD patients administered #ketamine and then use a daily exercise called ASAT (automated self association training).
i have mentioned it here a couple times, but i need a researcher to listen to what i am doing and tell me if this is monumentally terrifying and dangerous, or not, or if it would even be fit for purpose. it probably is?

small cohort in this study but it's encouraging for anyone that has #mdd or other #depression and depression-adjacent conditions. it's weird and bleeding edge at times but these therapies are life-saving. and if you work in technology this should interest you because over half of #infosec professionals have been or are being treated for a mental health condition.

it talks about what is in the ASAT program a bit, and the supplemental doc gives a little more context. i will keep looking for more information. get this though, the software used for the ASAT program is EOL-ish no longer developed but they still charge $1000 USD for a license that's some balls. people have no idea how bad higher ed and medicine gets fucked over. nobody can afford support.

today in the weird clinic was 250mg #ketamine, roa: sublingual via troch. 1x200mg 2x25mg at 11:45am gmt-5, stopped my voice recorder 1h40mins later.
FOOD: protein shake, cheese and crackers, water, juice for breakfast.
MEDS: took 0.25mg of a benzo and a chewable bonnie (antiemetic)
MOOD: buoyant af, low reliance on benzo follows a wave pattern; trying to extend wave to 14d before i am back to taking 0.5mg 2x/day.

i asked one of the hosts of #uncovered podcast (ron f.) to consider not calling elon a drug addict for being treated for depression with #ketamine. there's so much legitimate things to drag him for this. because if they are right and he's using ketamine daily and not every 7-14 days, his dependence on ketamine is another medical condition that affects me and countless others. i think he's a megalomaniac, creep, accidental success, huckster, con artist scumbag, but i'm not ok with shaming #MDD.
today at my clinic, i came in *hot* and was struggling to concisely come up with an intention or theme. we came up with one and i have to really execute this one. winding down, i flailed in my notebook less coherent than usual something like that "you gotta put your own mask on before assisting others" thing:
"steer into the skid to regain control, don't fight inertia, gain momentum and go."
i hope i said it in my recording.
