I have a working prototype of a notarized version of #OmegaT.app for #macOS packaged in a signed standard dmg volume. Both open nicely on 2 different #Sequoia machines that I tried them on.

After seeing more about that Apple scanning thing, and ye olde #LittleSnitch I couldn't help but wonder:

Hasn't someone somewhere come up with an alternative to Little Snitch in the libre/free open source software world? After all, #macOS uses #pf (from #OpenBSD) these days (though previously it was using #ipfw from #FreeBSD).

I originally listened to this decades ago on an Amiga 2000 with a 7MHz CPU, with arguably: much better realtime visualization than openmpt123 provides. ;)

Oh nice https://repology.org/project/openiked/versions just made me notice that #OpenIKED got a version bump to 7.2 on December 1st, 2022!

I should see about updating the #MacPort for that.

(Yet again feeling slightly smug when I contribute to a #MacPort for which there is no #homebrew #brew cask or their cask is a version or more behind.)

It appears as if LumoSQL has improved somewhat since I last looked at it, professing to run on BSDs even!

Which, certainly did not seem to be true when I first looked at it.

Thanks to Herby Gillot, the #gameoftrees #MacPort PR I submitted to update it to 0.78 has been merged.

Presumably coming soon to a local rsync mirror near you or something.

For those who rely upon (Home)brew? Looks as if they are still on 0.77, but that port is relatively new, so hopefully they will be motivated to update it relatively quickly as well?
