We don’t focus on tests day-to-day. But when tests serve our child’s goals, we welcome them. Tools like the SAT, CLEP, or DSST can help demonstrate capacity and open doors—whether for college credits or milestones toward adulthood. Tests aren’t the goal—but they’re useful when they serve autonomy.
