Please recommend a Mastodon app for android to me!
I use the official one currently, but it lacks a lot of features compared to the web client and a pretty serious bug I've reported hasn't gotten any reply in nearly a year. (I'm not blaming any individual for this, rather I'm frustrated at the state of system.)
I've tried tusky and didn't like the UI. What else is out there? What do you like? What don't you like? Why?

Mastodon app - thanks for the great app. โฉWhen we share from online, and the app is in AccountB, can we tap the icon to switch to AccountA? Right from the share sheet thing instead of having to go open the app and change users/profiles/servers (Yaknow what I mean?). Thx
Is there an Android Mastodon app that remembers my place in the stream? I don't like being set back to the top of the stream every time I open the app or when I switch to another app and switching back. Having to scroll back down to where I was in the stream makes me just want to close the app and forget about it.

Then I try in the #MastodonAndroidApp to switch off seeing Boosts.
I'd like to switch them all (700) off quickly.
Not possible.
Which is very unfriendly design - as in, "captive end-user - ha ha".
So I try going through, one by one.
Appear to be getting somewhere, maybe 70 accounts done.
Yippee!!
Go back and check - about 40% failure rate in switching off "See Boosts".
Or helpful suggestions? [Edit: Workaround that hides all boosts in web version]

I stumbled on the Moshidon @moshidon android app for Mastodon on F-Droid and so far I think it is my favorite android client I've used so far. It's a fork of @megalodon that adds Material You.
Hadn't seen it mentioned in any lists of recommended android client so thought I'd share.

Anyone else experiencing multiple repeat notifications from the mastodon android app? Have had to turn notifications off as it is killing the phone's battery, only started about an hour ago
Is there an #Mastodon app for Android in which I could pin my lists as timelines next to my main timeline (similar to advanced web interface, TweetDeck or old Twidere app)? I am currently using #Tusky and I think I cannot do that here.

Just downloaded the #Tusky app on #Android and I'm already impressed. I've heard that the official #MastodonApps were complete rush jobs, but figured it wasn't that bad. I was mistaken.
The #TuskyApp is much more responsive than the #MastodonAndroidApp. It also allows you to schedule posts as well as add multiple profiles to the app & switch between them.
So far, it looks like creating a post with a poll in it is the only thing Tusky can't do that the official app can do.
