#Mastodon Experts: Why do some URLs show thumbnail previews, and some do not? For example, if I share a YouTube link, my post shows a generic YouTube gray thumbnail. On other user’s posts, sometimes it’s literally just the URL text at the bottom of their posts, without any thumbnail. Finally, on other user’s posts, there is a thumbnail preview. What causes this?

Dear #MastodonExperts, Search does not scan a user’s Bio for keywords or hashtags, correct?

Question for the #MastodonExperts: In Tweetdeck I loved that I could use multiple accounts. Is there something present that would enable me to do the same with Mastodon?

Pressed something and got #blobcat! Colon something something colon. Any #MastodonExperts enlighten me? I did use it as it was cute.

Later - there are lots of cats, couple of shebas, an otter and an autism symbol in that series. But I see it is a way to bring up emojis in general. Cool!

#MastodonExperts anyone know, can you do a search of your notes on the profile of people you are following? Be very handy, eg if you have hashtagged some profiles to remind you who they are.
