I've lately learnt how to use filters and I find them very useful!
@Sicoaxial your default posting language seems to be English.
That means that the Mastodon built-in translation tool won't work.(generally)
I wish that Mastodon had a "translation override" that would allow me to translate anything since I highly doubt most users will think about their posting language.
To be honest I think most users are gonna be like "I have to think about posting language? Bye, going back to X!".

Thank you both for suggesting a feature and for also using the correct hashtag "FeatureRequest". I'm gonna add 2 extra. I see hashtags as "data" and the more...the merrier 🙂
Let me add to your feature request that I think it would be fine to be able to choose multiple languages but I think it would also be fine to tag the language as "multiple" as in "multiple languages used".

Like I feel like we got unlimited feature requests...
show stuff in home with x amount of likes(let the user decide amount at any given moment). ie. 5 likes...is it hard to get posts with 5 likes?
I'll answer that question myself: YES
It takes time and effort and stabilizing code so nobody will do this for free...
but that doesn't stop me from wishing it and for dreaming it!

You know for a Mastodon feature request I'd say let people decide which license each post is released under...and for those that choose CC0...make your search engine index all those posts...
Then you don't need to invent new "words" for a search engine to "feel welcome" to index them.
Make it so that you can decide if ie. only followed users or followers(and amount of time followed rules) can reply in comments to all posts or make it to specific ones.
This in a fight against reply guys!

Your post was very inspiring to me, cause I just came up with a Mastodon feature request that's about introducing an option in Home "latest posts of the users I follow" as a non-default tab.
Regular "Home" they can keep but this would be displayed in a tab in "Home".
What do you think, or you have a better idea?
What do you want fixed? I also have some 'concerns' about search.
ie. I suggested at one point that perhaps we should allow searches to be shared because the developers think that searching consumes a lot of needed server resources which is why only logged in users can do advanced search, even just including quotation marks "" so my suggestion is that I can share my search results with others.
Mastodon feature request: make it so that search results can be shared...since it takes so much resources from your servers that you'll only let logged in users search using quotation marks
I want an option in my Mastodon client that immediately closes the in App browser windows after clicking a link, or not even opening it and just say "Nope." when the website displays a cookie banner without a "decline all" option.

I'd like a filter that I can apply to individual accounts.
Maximum number of posts per 24 hours.
I see the first n posts and the rest are Muted.
I would love to have a dashboard / number view in Mastodon of how many posts have been filtered out. Cherry on top would be the possibility to move from this overview to a list showing all of the filtered posts. #mastodonfeaturerequest

Can anyone out there recommend an iOS Mastodon client that has the ability to filter out identical boosts? Or is there an account setting that can limit this that I haven't found?
A bunch of people I follow tend to boost similar content, so I tend to see the same posts (without additional content) repeatedly throughout the day, while I'd prefer posts appear on my timeline once, and get filtered after that.

@ramsey Yes, but it would be nice if there was a prompt to optionally provide a reason when blocking someone, or maybe add a duration for a temporary block. #MastodonFeatureRequest
