Stirling 2 ist erschienen - sieht jetzt sehr schick aus.
Für den Raspberry Pi reicht die Ultra-Lite-Version:

Gibt jetzt auch eine Variante, die ohne Selfhosting funktioniert - habe ich aber nicht getestet.
Ich habe mir vorhin einmal StirlingPDF auf meinem Proxmox als Acrobat Alternative installiert. Wow, macht bisher einen sehr guten Eindruck! Bin am überlegen das sogar mit für meine Kunden auszurollen.

Editer des livres sous Linux c'est quand même une dinguerie. J'ai trouvé un outil qui utilise Pandoc et WeasyPrint pour produire epub et PDF d'une manière très souple et personnalisable (genre, avec du CSS au lieu de LaTeX, incroyable.)
Sauf qu'au moment de mettre des notes de bas de page ben... La syntaxe markdown qui fait des belles notes de bas de page en epub ne passe pas du tout avec WeasyPrint qui lui s'appuie sur la syntaxe html/CSS.
Je vais m'éclater demain pour faire une regex pour passer d'un format à l'autre. 🙃

I need a PDF reader for Linux that can handle comments well - overview list, add a comment etc. I need to go through a proof reading of a book 500 pages long, so it need to work well. Any recommendations?

Does #Calibre look… better than it used to? And is there an option to *not* move my PDFs all over the damn place by default?
I have a pretty extensive #ttrpg #PDF collection, and I've got them organized into folders the way I like them. I can just use Foliate, which is gorgeous and gets the job done pretty well.
But Calibre has some features (epub conversion, for instance) I'd like to use. The problem is that it… let's say it lacks aesthetic appeal. Or it did the last time I tried to use it. This wouldn't normally be a big deal, but something about it just makes it unusable for me, and last I checked it looked the same as it did like fifteen years ago.
It also insisted on copying my PDFs into another folder because… 🤷♂️ they might be symlinks, which I guess I could handle, but still… 🤷♀️
Anyway, just wanted to ask if anyone has experience with it RN before I tried it again.
