Inside my there are two hors:
First that wants to make longer posts on mastodon and there fore needs to figure put other instances and whatnot...
Second that wants to have 500 character limitation to stay coherant and really have to think what to output...
My follow of the Amazing Autonomous Alaskan Lass @seachanger was removed #WithoutMyConsent sometime in the last three months.

is anyone else having issues with mastodon in a browser messing up enlarging graphics? When I click on them now to make them larger/easier to read - they're way off center and I can't see the whole thing. I don't think I changed anything. I very often have a problem on mastodon. Posts from people on other servers regularly don't show up at all for me, and when I go to their profile page, it just says "Older posts from other servers are not displayed."
But if I go to their profile page with my mastodon.social profile, their (new) post is there. It's only here on tech.lgbt it doesn't show up.
I check that the other servers are not on the moderated list here, but they almost never are.
Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a solution?
Edit: Well I should probably have done a search before asking. At least I have solved my immediate problem, of not being able to interact with posts that don't appear here:
Pasting the full link to the post into the search bar of this server, makes it fetch that post from the original server, and then it appears on the timeline to be interacted with. Very clunky, but at least possible.
I feel like I'm always apologizing here for not responding to @'s in a timely fashion.
To all of you who have engaged with me lately and then gotten no response, thank you and I'm sorry. Since Grandma was sick and then passed, my bandwidth has been all over the place as far as having enough mental/emotional energy to actually respond to responses.

Mastodon pals, a friend of mine is trying to join, but when they scroll down to accept the ground rules in desktop - for login or for sign up - the page just refreshes and brings them back to the start of the ground rules. Anyone have ideas on how to fix?
I like #Mastodon but will admit I refrain from posting sometimes because the #security settings are such that one cannot just sign on from any device. That long string of code for two-factor authentication needs to be entered in each screen and it needs to be different every time and can only be used once. #ProTip for you: Don't set up two-factor authentication, forget what you did with the emergency recovery codes, and then get a new phone. Thankfully, my server's admin responded to my email and helped me out. #MastodonProblems
@LizardSF , "unlisted" in Mastodon means opted out of discovery -- which in turn means that everyone can see your post, but it won't appear on timelines, local or federated. However, anyone who follows your profile will see it.
As a courtesy measure, so that I don't babble in everyone's timeline by default, I choose to set my default tooting mode to "unlisted", and change that on the fly to Public (visible for all) only when I happen to be tooting using hashtags (as otherwise they aren't findable, hence their purpose is defeated).

A #Mastodon interface observation: When I go a while without logging on and checking my #Federated feed and I log on through the browser, the site insists on loading each and every toot that I missed individually. After weeks, or even days, this becomes a #scroll that seems endless. Can that be addressed? Why not just take us to the latest #toots and let us scroll down if we so wish? #mastodonquestions #makeitstop #MastodonProblems
