Some of the #MetPol #spycops may be considered "incredibly racist" by the standards of 2025, but I used to live in the exact same part of #London where Stephen Lawrence was killed around the same time, and it was *bitterly* racially divided back then with many normal folk harbouring the same views - to the point as a brown person I had to look over my shoulder constantly if out on my own.

Maybe its better since then, I don't know - not been back there for 30 years and unlikely to do so (I'm sceptical as the 2011 riots showed the exact same racial tension)

To be fair, Sadiq Khan has done his best to improve things in the capital, but one man can't just erase over 3 decades of hate, that started brewing when he was still in high school and University..

In #Liverpool and then in #London, #GreenpeaceUK's man set out to be arrested for supporting #genocide in #Gaza. But both #MerseysidePolice and the #MetropolitanPolice #MetPol refused to arrest him.

In London, outside the #RoyalCourtsOfJustice, he was surrounded by protesters who oppose genocide and support #PalestineAction. All of the anti-genociders were arrested, and the genocider supporter was left alone.

In #London on Saturday, the #MetropolitanPolice #MetPol bravely resisted calls by leftwing agitatiors to arrest supporters of #genocide. 👍

Britain has invaded 90% of the earth's countries (smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/). Genocide is an ancient tradition of the #BritishEmpire. So it is bizarre that these radical extremists criticise genocide-supporters.

The police should #DefendBritishValues by arresting the #PalestineActìon opponents of genocide.

#London today: #MetropolitanPolice #MetPol bravely arrest some of the #DefendOurJuries #terrorists attacking the #RoyalCourtsOfJustice. The women & #pensioners sat with signs "I oppose #genocide. I support #PalestineAction".

Inside the #HighCourt, brave officials had replaced the judge with 3 new judges, 2 known to be supporters of repression. To ensure justice, part of the #JudicialReview hearing will be in #secretcourt, without the founder of #PalestineActìon or her lawyer.

Some really hardcore terrorists seen in #London on Monday, at the #DefendOurJuries demo outside the #HomeOffice, against the ban on #PalestineAction. Many of these extremist #Quaker terrorists promote the sinister ideology that #genocide is somehow a bad thing.

But the #MetropolitanPolice #MetPol were out in force to make arrests, and thereby protect Londoners from the scourge of peace.

Shocking scenes of police #cowardice outside the #HomeOffice in #London today!

At the #DefendOurJuries protest, this young #motherterrorist & #babyterrorist held a sign saying "I oppose #genocide. I support #PalestineAction." But the cowardly #MetPol #MetropolitanPolice did not arrest her, because she put the sign away when asked.

So now the #babyterrorist is free to spend a WHOLE LIFE terrorising people by proclaiming that #GenocideIsWrong.

Keir #Starmer must act! Arrest #terroristBaby!

The image shows a woman holding a baby carrier in front of a glass building exterior. The womon is wearing a dark jacket and has shoulder-length light brown hair. They are holding a baby carrier against their chest, with the baby’s head visible. To the right of the woman, another person is wearing an orange safety vest and a red scarf. A sign held by the first person is visible with the text "OPPOSE GENOCIDE PORT". The ground is covered in fallen leaves,.

Valour in #London, as #MetropolitanPolice #MetPol tackle new threat.

Heroic cops arrested the first #mannequin #terrorist. With no previous incidents to learn from, cops risked their lives to improvise securing, then imprisoning the mannequin. The terrorist deployed a live paper notice opposing #genocide in #Gaza and supporting #PalestineAction, but the casualty numbers were low.

#London is safe! The brave #MetropolitanPolice #MetPol have again protected the city from terror.

On Saturday, over 350 cops made over 50 arrests in #TavistockSquare. The #terrorists arrested were yet again committing the deadly atrocity of holding paper signs opposing #genocide in #Gaza, and supporting #PalestineAction.

These grey-haired, elderly terrorists face lengthy prison sentences if convicted. #Starmer's govt stands firm against the #terroristThreat.

This woman was arrested in #London for holding a sign with the words “I do not support the proscription of Palestine Action” written on it.

Yet again, the brave #MetPol #MetropolitanPolice have protected Londoners from the terror of reading that a woman disagrees with something. It's a #luckyEscape for London!

The #MetPol fiasco (although no surprise to anyone who has been around in last 50 years) is likely to be even *more* of a source of stress for #SadiqKhan - as due to viable threats from the fash he is dependent on them for #CloseProtection

Live facial recognition (#LFR) was not used to police the #UniteTheKingdom rally in #London. No "intelligence basis" for it, #MetropolitanPolice Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley told #LondonPolicingBoard.
Rowley was challenged on the difference in approach at #NottingHillCarnival, when LFR was used.

Rowley reckoned that #Carnival was more dangerous than a #fascist #racist rally. 😡

Same, it seems, with the #DefendOurJuries protest. 😡

#MetPol needs new leaders. #Scary

bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c75q3e

Four paragraphs from the BBC News repot, quoting Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley:

"It's really important we're deploying it where there's an intelligence basis to do so," he told board members.

"That's one of the safeguards - that you're not using it as mass surveillance tool - you're using it in particular places where there is intelligence based to say this may actually make people safer."

Sir Mark added that although there may be a case for using the technology at future protests, it would need to be balanced with freedom of speech concerns, as it could have a "chilling effect".

"And the intelligence picture at the weekend - that we had before the event - didn't justify that," he added.

The #BigLie is the key tool of British politics

This week's Big Lie comes from the #MetropolitanPolice's Deputy Assistant Commissioner Claire Smart. She claimed that arresting anti-genocide protesters was a way to "keep people safe". That is a classic Big Lie, a huge inversion of reality designed to completely reframe discussion.

The reality is that the #MetPol were the only threat to safety.

Londoners are well-served by their #MetropolitanPolice!

On Saturday, the #MetPol bravely arrested lots of grannies who were terrorising London by sitting with handwritten placards.

Then on Monday, the fearless force flew into action again. This time they protected London against a mural by #Banksy, which had been painted on the wall of the Royal Courts of Justice.

Terrorist grannies won't get away with opposing genocide. Terrorist artists won't get away with mocking judges! #DownWithArt!

The image is a split-screen showing two different scenes at the Royal Courts of Justice in London. On the left, labeled "Royal Courts of Justice, Monday morning," a man in a black coat and hat walks past a large black and white mural of a figure holding a hammer, with a child sitting nearby. The mural is on the wall of the building, and the man appears to be in a hurry, possibly on his way to work. On the right, labeled "Royal Courts of Justice, Monday afternoon," two security officers stand in front of a temporary metal barrier. The officers are dressed in white shirts and black trousers, with one wearing a tie. The barrier is set up to protect the area, possibly from the mural or other disturbances. The text at the top of the image reads "METROPOLITAN POLICE" and "PROTECTING LONDON FROM ART AND GRANNIES,"

Congrats again to London's fearless #MetropolitanPolice. On Saturday in #ParliamentSquare, they again set aside their personal safety, and bravely detained a mannequin terrorist.

The mannequin held a placard with the now-standard words "I oppose #genocide. I support #PalestineAction". If the cops hadn't been such heroes, there's no knowing how many Londoners could have been hurt by the words of the terrorist.

Is this a world first for the #MetPol?
