I *love* the earthy notes #methi imparts. A roommate of mine was Gujarati, and his mother made this wonderful unleavened fried flatbread that had some in it that I've never been able to find at any Indian restaurant or grocery store. Doesn't help that I can't spell it...

CĂŽtĂ© aromatiques : j'ai du basilic gĂ©nois partout, y compris lĂ oĂč il ne devrait pas (pas de grosse diffĂ©rence avec le Grand vert cultivĂ© les annĂ©es prĂ©cĂ©dentes). La ciboule de Chine (ciboulail) ressemble Ă quelque chose. C'est dĂ©jĂ fini pour le fenugrec. J'ai sans faire exprĂšs laissĂ© le basilic thaĂŻ monter en fleurs, c:est beau mais j'aurais Ă peine pu m'en servir.

Due to some unfortunate labeling and cupboard positioning, plus new glasses, I have added #methi leaves to several dishes instead of #oregano - or as well as oregano if I notice my mistake in time. Far from ruining anything it adds a nice bit of umami to #vegetarian dishes if not overdone. Who knew?
