#fensterfreitag I don't know if this can be called a window. It's the glass dome of the Passage, a historic covered shopping mall from 1885 in The Hague. A glass dome photographed from the inside and from below. The dome fills the entire photo and consists of iron and glass. The dome is constructed in two layers. The lower, conical ring contains frosted glass panes and the upper, spherical ring clear glass, which is now brightly colored blue by the sky. Thirteen iron rings run from the center outwards and three round rings divide these into separate clear glass panes. Around the upper glass dome a wide iron scalloped edge and below that the frosted glass panes. Again divided by iron arches and rings into seperate panes.
