Much of this ONDP press conference is taken up with the defection of ONDP MPP Doly Begum to the federal Liberals to fill a seat vacated by Bill Blair.

As a volunteer on Begum's last three campaigns and having talked to both staff and key campaign volunteers I can only say that the feeling is one of massive betrayal as Carney continues to fold to the Trump regime while implementing austerity at home. What was she thinking?
