Although it’s not the ideal replacement and could use some refinement, the #NeoLauncher appears to be the best alternative to #NovaLauncher for my needs.

I will keep an eye on existing launchers and new arrivals (feel free to suggest any!), but I have more or less switched to Neo (I still have Nova installed out of morbid curiosity).

@UkiahSmith Yeah, switching from one non-FOSS app to another is not a good option, I agree. But all I tried barely do folders at this point.

#FossifyLauncher is extremely bare bones.

The last update for #NeoLauncher was almost two years ago.

#Lawnchair (the new one) seems the most promising, or at least the most active. It now has folders in the app drawer and on the desktop, but they are not connected. Why?!

I keep them all to check updates, but nothing even half as good as Nova exists yet.

Really digging the NeoLauncher on top of Lineage 22 (Android 15) that I just flashed on my Poco X5 Pro 5G. Je suis en train d'essayer #simplelauncher mais il plante dès que je mets en charge mon téléphone.

Autrement je serai bien pour #neolauncher comme le recommande @sebsauvage mais d'après #fdroid il a été mis à jour il y a deux ans ... je ne sais pas si il faut faire confiance du coup.

J'aimais bien #zimlauncher, pourquoi plus de mise à jour 😢

The #GrapheneOS launcher is a bit threadbare (by design) so I'm looking forward to trying something new.

If you use an *open source* launcher which you like, please let me know which one.

Finally got the time to finish my phone theme, pretty happy of how it turned out, I've been working on it since @revengeday published the cyberware OS images, they were intended to be used as boot screens but i had other plans in mind lol :ablobglitch:

Clock and storage widget are both made in KWGT, if someone wants them, dm me and i will send the link to download them (also i can send the assets to replicate my AOD)

The launcher is Neo Launcher, i like it because as i used to do with Nova i can make every icon app in the main page a swipe-up folder

The other parts were all done in Samsung's good lock tools, i didn't share the rest of the lock screen and the App drawer since they are pretty bland and i like them that way :kekw:

Edit: i forgot to mention, the icon pack is called LineX

Du kannst ja auch beliebig viele erstmal installieren, dann durchprobieren, bei Gefallen als Standard einstellen

Den Neo Launcher kannte ich gar nicht! Ich freu mich total. Ein Open Source Launcher mit dem man Ordner im App Drawer anlegen kann. Zwar etwas umständlich, aber cool. Kann ich doch weg von Nova. :) Schade nur, dass man die Icons von WebApps nicht ändern kann. #neolauncher #grapheneos #novalauncher
