~300 people were murdered by the Gestapo in Dortmund in spring 1945.
At least 153 were executed in Rombergpark.
Victims included forced labourers from Eastern and Western Europe.
They were first buried in mass graves, then reinterred after the war.
Bittermark Memorial is today the main site of remembrance.
Rombergpark remains a quiet, living memorial.
