“River Man”, “Way To Blue”, “Fruit Tree”; amongst Nick’s finest recordings. Just gorgeous songs.
And the album’s closer, “Saturday Sun” is the perfect song to close the album out, along with my excruciatingly long day.

It is still unfathomable to me how Nick Drake could have gone through his short life without the recognition he so richly deserved. And that it took a goddamn CAR COMMERCIAL for him to get his due. Albeit, much too late.
Better LAYTE than never, I guess.

Nick never made a bad record. They’re all so very beautiful, and it never matters which one you put on.
It truly doesn’t.
Man, do I love “At The Chime Of A City Clock”.
What a song.
I have a list of about 50 songs that I wish I’d written.

Today's random #Discogs choice Nick Drake and Fruit Tree CD box set 2007. Bryter Layter is my favourite Drake album, closely followed by Five Leaves Left. Pink Moon is OK, but not one I'll reach for. Lovely box set.
