Another pre-breakfast, hour long "commute" on the local gravel paths. I encountered another fallen tree, both are within metres of each other. It was great fun in the rain and the dirt. A close-up photo of my lower legs and feet (the left foot only had four toes), standing barefoot on a wooden floor indoors. The legs are hairy and covered in dried mud and dirt from the ankles up to the mid-thigh. There are distinct clean lines where their socks and cycling shorts were.

A fantastic, mainly canals and gravel, ride today with my club, Dukinfield CC. We rode the canal to Hollingworth Lake then the rocky trails east of there back to Denshaw. Then some road before picking up the canal again in Uppermill which took me, more or less, all the way home. Superb ride out.
