Also at #Norham, the parish church is interesting*. I went in to see what these windows are like from the inside, and noticed the light through the glass was colouring the walls and floor. It didn't photograph very well.
(* It was built in the 12th century, replacing an earlier church. Although it's been substantially rebuilt over the centuries, there are some bits of the original building, including this wall. (I assume the glass has been replaced). There is also this odd pillar made from Anglo-Saxon stones stuck together.)
