A rare Sunday delivery. I am happy to say the least.
I preordered the new #Nuphy #kick75 #lowprofile keyboard.
I got the blush nano silent switches and they are quite silent!
#dearlazyweb i have a TKL #WASDkeyboard with cherry brown MX switches, and it's become too mushy for my taste - i tried a #nuphy air75 keyboard with some sort of red switches (not sure what those are) and it's awesome but i don't like the layout (missing scroll lock and friends), is there something like a nuphy (slim, low-travel keys, mechanical, QMK) but with a bit wider?
For anyone curious, the v1 keyboard’s 2.4g dongle will not connect to my v2 keyboard. So anyone taking up a keyboard kit offer might want to consider that when deciding if they want to pay the additional $10 dongle fee or not.
I generally keep to wired or bluetooth so I was just curious to see if it would work or not.
The replacement kit arrived today so spent the morning fitting switches and keycaps into the new board.
I had several keycap sets and a set of switches spare so I can keep the old board as a backup wired keyboard ready to go. If I ever get round to setting up a retro computer gaming device it might be perfect for that.
Oh man! This wait is going to feel like forever! 😩

Today’s (not so) fun task was dismantling my keyboard to remove its newly acquired 'spicy pillow’.
Really don't want the battery exploding on my desk or anything. So best to be safe while I wait for the replacement v2 kit to arrive.
Thankfully it came apart easily enough and is all back together and fine now. Albeit limited to wired only mode.

Это первая моя статья здесь, не судите строго) Когда-то в далеком детстве к клавиатурам не было никаких требований, какая была - такой и пользовался. Но однажды приобрел себе Logitech Wave (К350). Понравилась она мне сначала по картинкам, а после того, как увидел вживую, влюбился окончательно. И с тех она стала моей любимой и единственной клавиатурой на более чем 12 лет.

Ich will ein mechanisches Keyboard per VIA/QMK so konfigurieren, dass sowohl macOS als auch Win User ein @ da finden wo sie es erwarten.
