More soldering misadventures with #MechanicalKeyboard assembly - my beginner's luck has run out:
One controller pin/pad didn't get its connection. Checked second PCB and that was fine, so unsure why. Happily an easy fix with a little bridging wire soldered on the back, and a tiny case cut-away.
Next I managed to push off one hotswap socket while fitting the switches (I have done this before but been luckier), and it ripped one pad up (a new mistake for me). This switch was OK, but the connection to the next switch in the column was cut. Again, a remedial bridge added.
And obvious in hindsight, but I forgot to check the top of the PCB was clean before fitting the transparent top plate/case (and I don't fancy doing all the switches again) now...
