@GottaLaff Six years ago, my wife went to Karachi to teach a #Hebrew language class. It was sponsored by the church we belonged to then, so obviously we’re talking about #Christian Pakistani folks. The class was very well received, and there were requests to make this class a regular occurrence. Then the church honchos looked at my wife’s #Facebook, where she made her feelings about #Trump quite clear. The invitations were rescinded quite rapidly. The church in general, and Pakistani Christians in particular, were very onboard with #OrangePustule because they thought he’d fight for them. I haven’t seen where #Pakistan was included in the latest travel ban, which is a good thing as my wife’s interpreter when she was there is now in the states working on her MDIV. She’s also working on permanent residence and we are both terrified for her every time she has to go in for an appointment.

@GottaLaff Memo to the #media and #MAGA idiots: Leave! Him! The! Hell! Alone! Relitigating the past accomplishes less than nothing. And, I’m going to be totally blunt here, Joe Biden in a vegetative state would have still been multiple times better than #OrangePustule in his current state. So, in the name of all that’s good, let him live out whatever life he has left in peace. Of course, I know this won’t happen.

@covie_93 @stonekettle Even if you go along with the premise that Biden was mentally impaired, and I’m not sure I do, he would still be an upgrade to what we’ve got now. At least he’s not a malevolent narcissist intent on destroying everything that made America good. I’d take him over the #OrangePustule every day of the week and twice on Sundays, even if he needed to govern from an assisted living facility.

Tonight I am reading about the latest executive order from the #OrangePustule (oh how I wish I could take credit for that!) which, among other things, will attempt to use the military against civilians. Um, posse comitatus, anyone? Of course he’ll probably try to use the Insurrection Act or something to get around that and #Congress will let him. Gotta say, it’s getting harder and harder to have a good night sleep with no nightmares. If we keep going down this road and nobody at least tries to stop it, I at least hope the food is decent in the reeducation camp.
